After graduating from Georgetown University, Chudney became a producer and production manager, working on films like Mesmerized and Fame. According to Today, she was convicted of a DUI and sentenced to two days in jail, which she completed at the Greenwich Police Department in Connecticut. With a leg-up from Diana Ross' former neighbor Smokey Robinson, the group auditioned for Motown executive Berry Gordy in August 1960. Plain and simple: Diana Ross is a musical legend. She has won numerous American Music Awards, several "Lifetime Achievement" awards, and in 2016, President Barack Obama awarded Ross with the Presidential Medal of Freedomand for good reason.
